Sobre este curso

Assess candidate personalities: Big Five profiles, psychological assessment, hiring decisions, coaching, scorecards

Contenido del curso

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

313 tools for personality assessment at work in one course: 22 downloadable tool files, 201 ready-to-use question lists, checklists, procedures, scorecards and AI prompts, 78 models and methods, and 12 services shown on screen.

Open a lecture, take the tool, use it in your next hiring or development conversation.

Why personality tests disappoint

A company buys a test, everyone gets four letters or a colour, and a month later nobody remembers what to do with them. Or worse: the letters become a reason to reject a candidate. A test result is useful when you know what the model measures, what it does not measure, and how to combine it with an interview, a work sample and feedback from colleagues.

What changes after this course

You know the main models and can explain each in plain words. You use a personality profile as one source among several in a hiring decision. You talk with a person about their result so that it helps them. You adapt coaching, feedback and motivation to the person in front of you. And you never force a test on someone who does not want it.

What is inside: 313 tools, counted file by file

You do not have to take this number on trust. Open any lecture and read its description: every tool inside is listed there by name.

Who is teaching

I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe.

I took my first MBTI at Alfa-Bank. Later, at the STB television channel, we were choosing what to use, and I took Hogan, DISC and other tests myself. Then I began to use them for the team: to explain to the people I work with who I am and how to work with me, and to let them tell about themselves. I also learned where the limit is. At Wargaming, during a master class on personality typology, one developer made a scene: he said it was unscientific and unacceptable. He was one person in two thousand, but my conclusion was simple: if someone is against it, do not impose it.

How to use the course
